A BIG Double Rainbow in the Bowling Green Sky on Sunday August 5th. NO, those aren't aliens stacked to land. They are the interior lights reflected on the window in "Steamers" Restaurant, a great place for Blackened Catfish, Mashed Taters and Collard Greens!

My absolute favorite "Mater" is a "Cherokee Purple" Here is a big Heart shaped one I got last Summer. Recently my friend Joan brought me a bunch of Cherokee Purples from her and her husband Ted's garden and there was a small Heart shaped one. All Yummy!!

July is HOT!
But then again, it's been HOT since the first week in May here in Alabamaland! We didn't have a real Spring. Straight into the 90 temps and AC and lots of Ice Tea! I took a few pics at the Fireworks at the Space and Rocket Center on the 4th. Course they moved it over this year and you can't see the Rocket in the pics! Hope you all had a great holiday last week!

Pop the Cork!! It's time to Celebrate! This is the first day of my new website going live! It's still very much a work in progress! I'm adding more and rearranging things still. But, this day has been years and months in the making. I am a self described "Techno Spaz" and I faced my greatest Techno fears and procrastination to do this site myself. With some great advice and help from friends, some Live Chats and calls with Tech Support, I made it. My "Blog" is going to be about whatever I want it to be. Photos I take, people and art and things that inspire me. I'll post some of my work, projects, art licensing info, classes I'll be doing and more. Skies and Flowers are always in the mix!
